PDPA 2012 addendum · Last updated: 2026-05-07
This page supplements the global Privacy Policy with rights and procedures applicable under the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
Notification and consent
Under PDPA s. 13–14, we collect, use, and disclose your personal data only with your consent and for purposes you have been notified of. The bulk of our processing is for service delivery (the contract you entered when you created an account); analytics requires your separate consent via the consent banner.
Your rights
- Access (s. 21) — request a JSON export via Settings → Data Management → Export JSON.
- Correction (s. 22) — correct inaccurate data via Settings, or by request.
- Withdrawal of consent (s. 16) — withdraw consent for a given purpose by contacting us. Withdrawing consent for service-essential purposes will end your account.
Data Protection Officer
Per PDPA s. 11, our designated point of contact for PDPA matters is dpo@joyp.tv.
Cross-border transfer
Personal data is transferred to AWS infrastructure in the United States. We rely on contractual safeguards comparable in protection to the PDPA, in line with the Personal Data Protection Regulations 2014.
How to complain
Contact our DPO first at dpo@joyp.tv. If unresolved, you may lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Commission at pdpc.gov.sg/Complaints-and-Reviews.
